APRIL/MAY2003 NEWSLETTER

Dear Member, "VANDALISM IN THE CHILDRENS' ROOM", Due to the increasing amount of vandalism in the Childrens' room the committee discussed whether to close it, it is a pity that a few have to spoil things for the majority. It has been decided to increase CCTV in the room and hallway and if any damage is caused by a child the parents will be held accountable as it is their responsibility. This could also jeopardise membership.

NEWS IN BRIEF:

1) Brian Bartlett has been appointed Land Manager and Marion Gunn Assistant Manager.

2) The tennis courts are open.

3) Well done to Charlie Fever who won the Kent U.13 Table Tennis Championship,and had a clean sweep at the Newhouse Competition

4) Date for the diary: GARDENERS The ANNUAL MAKE BAKE AND GROW SHOW is on 7th July starting before lunch

5) Total Membership 2001 - 2002 is 1,540
