Members of Sittingbourne & District Table Tennis Association

The table tennis section uses the facilities at the Woodcoombe Sports & Social Club on Wednesday and Thursday evenings throughout the year.Click here for fixtures. Away fixtures depend on venue days.

Each League team consists of 3 players and matches are played over ten games (9 singles and 1 doubles). Each game is on a "best of three legs" to 21 points although other leagues (such as the Medway League) are now playing to the new international format of "best of 5 legs" to 11 points.

During the summer months, the League runs a smaller Summer League on a handicap basis for those that like to maintain their match fitness during the warmer weather.

Although there are usually one or two matches each Wednesday and Thursday for most of the year, we have room for three tables which means that a practice table is almost always available.

Annual Membership Subscription is £20 for adults and £10 Juniors/students and thanks to some generous donations from the main Woodcoombe Sports & Social Club - to which membership is compulsory, we have in recent years been able to purchase new tables and court dividers.
